Happy New Year from CMDA Greater NYC

Dear Friends,

Let us give thanks to God for guiding us through another year. Despite concerning world events and any personal struggles we have experienced, His promises continue to be “Yes” in Christ (2 Cor. 1:20).

2023 was a noteworthy year for both Greater NYC and CMDA. At the national level, milestones included record attendance at the National Convention, the unveiling of a new logo, and the inaugural Remedy East missions conference in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Highlights from the Greater NYC Chapter include:

• Launching quarterly NYC Healthcare Fellowship meetings, welcoming healthcare professionals from across the Greater NYC area
• Expanding our mentorship program
• Reviving Medical Missions Prayer meetings on a quarterly basis
• Numerous resident and attending gatherings, including our annual Thanksgiving potluck

In 2024, we will continue to pursue ways to educate, encourage, and equip those we serve. We look forward to increasing connections and communication across our wide geographic area, expanding access to the Dr. Elaine Eng Scholarship for Health Students and Trainees, and growing attendance at events like the NYC Healthcare Fellowship.

Your feedback, support, and prayers are vital to completing our mission. We welcome your comments and suggestions and are always looking for people to serve as council members, mentors, and speakers. Finally, we invite you to consider joining CMDA if you are not already a member, or making a year-end gift to our local ministry.
